Crossing a band never costs you a surprise. Volume is counted over a rolling 12 months and we never block or throttle a bid and never bill overage. If you pass your band we tell you, and the tier changes at your next renewal with 30 days' notice — so you always see it coming.
A “bid” means a distinct bid record created in the window. Saved versions and revisions of the same bid don't count again. Self-hosted installs are never counted at all.

Need more than 10 hours a month? Every tier still bundles DevOps and hosting, banks unused hours for 24 months, and scales your scheduled calls with the hours.

How subscriptions & auto-renewal work
- Recurring & automatic. Hosting and Dev Path plans bill through PayPal and auto-renew each month at the stated price until you cancel.
- 3-month minimum. Subscriptions run for a minimum of 3 months (3 billing periods) before cancellation can take effect.
- 30 days' notice to change. To change or cancel a plan, give 30 days' notice; it takes effect at the end of that period (and no earlier than the minimum term).
- Cancel online, anytime. Cancel yourself from your plan area or in PayPal — no phone call, no email required.
- You consent explicitly. Every subscribe button requires you to check a box agreeing to these terms first — nothing is ever pre-checked.
- No refunds; hours bank 24 months. Fees aren't refunded or pro-rated; unused dev hours remain usable for 24 months while your subscription is active.

2 · Subscribe or scope
Subscriptions: check the consent box and pay securely through PayPal — it auto-renews. Custom / one-off: we confirm scope, then send a PayPal invoice. No card details ever touch this site.
3 · We get to work
Your managed instance is provisioned or your dev lane starts — and you manage the plan anytime from your plan area.

First, the straight version of the history: we are a totally separate company. ProjectThunder was hired to build BidMagic and served as its technical lead; the BidMagic company itself ceased doing business in 2023. BidGlory is not a continuation of that company — it's our own product, built because BidMagic operators keep telling us they still can't find anything better.
What we built is compatible with BidMagic databases and proposal
templates. Restore your existing .bak and BidGlory adopts
it in place — bids, line items, clients, product catalog, purchase orders, users.
Upgrades are additive-only: nothing drops or rewrites the tables your shop has
filled for years. Your proposal preferences and document templates are honored
by the new proposal generator.

- Bring your data. One-command importer restores your BidMagic backup and verifies the object counts.
- Or evaluate clean first. A fresh install boots into a fully synthetic sample company — click everything before touching production data.
- Keep running BidMagic meanwhile. Evaluation happens against a copy; your live install is never touched.

We're building a community hub into bidglory.com: register once, post ideas and questions in the forums, and vote them up or down so the roadmap reflects what working shops actually need. Support will live in the same place — public tickets anyone can read and learn from, and private tickets for paid support subscribers. The forums aren't live yet, but registration is open now — create your account and your username is reserved for day one.
